Tampa Code Camp was a success!

On Saturday, I had the privilege of attending (and speaking) at the Tampa Code Camp. It was held this year at St. Pete College, which I think was a much better venue than USF was last year. It was a good thing to - estimates put over 400 attendees, not counting speakers. Wow!

My session went well - we only had 60 minutes, and when you let religious wars break out in your session (RefactorPRO or Resharper? Private methods or Public objects accessed privately?) you pay a penalty of not getting to show all the cool stuff. We did manage to cover quite a bit, but there were two things I didn't quite get to cover fully you'll be seeing blog posts about this week.

Speaking of blog posts, several people pointed out that it had been nearly a month before my last blog post, which was just pictures of D.C. Between being on the road about every week, prepping for the code camp and TechReady in a week, and some other things going on, I have been slacking off. I'm making a commitment to change that, and I'm setting a goal of at least one blog post a week. We'll see if I make it!

But, back to the code camp - thanks to all of those who turned out, and espeically those who came to my session instead of the uber-cool robotic visioning system talk. ;)
